The Art Director will work with Christ Chapel's Creative Director, its in-house agency staff and subcontractors to conceptualize, design and produce new and ongoing projects based on client expectations. Projects may utilize or be presented in the final format of print, video, and/or web. The work ... Supervise the design and production of projects to include recommendations to clients to improve publication design, and ensuring consistency of style, budget and deadlines are met. Work with multiple vendors, printers and photographers to make recommendations for acquisition of bids for services, and recommend best use of resources. Work with Traffic Manager to ensure scheduling and timelines of all incoming and outgoing production is met by deadline. Perform press checks, photo shoots and client meetings as necessary. Assist with ongoing preventative maintenance of firm's computer hardware and software. Recommend and implement ways to increase productivity, professionalism and customer service within the office. Assist with organization of job files, artwork and photography. Work with copywriter to brainstorm copy, headlines and cutlines as needed. Assist with design and production of the CCBC's identity to include printed, digital, web and video collateral. Assist in supervising other employees of CCBC's in-house agency. You are ... Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Highly imaginative and can communicate those ideas with ease. Skilled at generating, sharing and following-through on creative ideas. Passionate about how the church communicates to the community and the congregation. Willing to implement in all projects the creative process and design standards of CCBC's brand. Willing to contribute to the overall success of CCBC's ministry. Able to provide stellar customer service. Always learning and growing professionally to hone your design skills. Able to play well with others — the in-house team, the different ministries represented at CCBC and third-party vendors Someone who can mentor junior designers, production designers and interns. An expert multi-tasker who can plan, lead and manage multiple priority projects simultaneously from concept to creation, while ensuring budget, deadlines, design standards and best practices are met. Must haves … Minimum four-year college degree Minimum three (3) years extensive experience with all matters of graphic design, publication layout, production and printing Strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator on Macintosh platform | ||||
