Ginger Creek Community Church is located in the western suburbs of Chicago in Aurora, Illinois. Ginger Creek is a church of a 1,000+ in weekly attendance. We are searching for an engaging and gifted leader that embraces a model of leadership based on a team model – both adult and student leaders. This individual would work with students and leaders in grades 6-12.

A qualified candidate must have significant experience shepherding adult and student teams of volunteers and leading an exciting and engaging Student Ministry. A proven track record in developing high-level leaders is a must.

Minimum Requirement

Must embrace a Matthew 22:37-39 mindset
Must genuinely enjoy students and have a proven track record of relational ability.
Must embrace a "Team" mentality – and be able to develop and lead people.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a church of 1,000+ or comparable large student ministry para-church experience (Ex. Young Life, Youth for Christ, Campus Crusade etc.)
BA/BS Degree
MA or further theological education a plus
