Job Duties:
Contribute creatively to the SRCC ministry team, while handling the graphic design and layout needs of the_noemailanization.
Understand current design trends in print and media, and appropriately translate and apply to digital and print graphics.
Assist in the creation, revision and management of the church Weekly (bulletin)
Assist in the design and management of the eWeekly (email newsletter)
Assist with the management of the church website content/graphics
Maintain and manage church social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Serve as a creative consultant behind seasonal projects, external media relations and advertising outlets
Assist with the coordination and production of weekly_noemailmunications (including, but not limited to visitor_noemailmunications, Weekly handouts, media slides, print cards, banners, posters, signage, etc) in a timely, accurate, up-to-date and consistent with our vision and branding.
Assist with project management and quality control on all church_noemailmunications, including those produced within the individual ministries of the church.
Negotiate and coordinate print production with outside vendors as needed.
Maintain professional growth through continuing education and skill development in the areas of print, web, social media, and general marketing principles.
Provide feedback and input to supervisor regarding the status, evaluation and progress of all aspects of the Communications team.
Works with team members to develop concepts, campaigns, and ways to inspire and provoke through visual arts
Ensure publishing deadlines are met
Qualifications:
Mac platform proficiency preferred, but not necessary
2-5 years successful graphics experience preferred
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc)
Experience with some of the following programs: QuarkXPresss, Micromedia Dream Weaver, Avid or Final Cut Pro, Audacity, DVD Studio and Motion
Flexible and willing to adapt to changing or_noemailpeting priorities; a can-do attitude
Able to take initiative and work independently
People skills and the ability to collaborate creatively are vital
A passion for excellence and the ability to work effectively with deadlines
Ability to be consistent on the job each week
Ability to coordinate many diverse tasks and projects at one time
Possible Additional Responsibilities, based on experience/skill set:
Videography
Able to write, direct, shoot, edit and produce videos (motion graphics, interactive design, viral and promotional videos as well as sermon support)
Able to make video improvements in our Worship Center using ProPesenter, Multi-Camera IMAG, etc.
Service Production Support
Able to build, supervise and support weekend production team. (camera, lighting, video switching, video capture and edit of weekend service, etc.)
Planning Center Implementation
Worship Center Sound Improvements (Digital soundboard, In Ear Monitors, etc)
