Co-Lead Pastor of Young Adults in Los Angeles, CA - California

My Main Responsibilities:
-Work with Fusion team (staff of 5) to strategize, plan and implement all efforts at leading young adults to a complete commitment to Jesus Christ.
-Provide vision and leadership for all major events connected with young adult ministries.
-Recruit, develop and coach new life group leaders in their effort to create places of belonging, discipleship and mission.
-Strategize, implement, and oversee evangelism efforts for young adults.
-Assimilate new people into the life of the Fusion community.
-Lead program and planning for Fusion College Wednesdays (FCW) - gathering of 70+ 18-23 yr olds
-Responsible for 50% of the teaching at FCW
-Lead campus efforts, including Fusion clubs at local community colleges
-Provide pastoral care, counsel, and direction for young adults at Fusion
-Other leadership and speaking roles: teaching classes, retreat breakout sessions, Urban Plunge, etc.
-Pray like crazy for young adults in our church and city – all that we do needs to come from prayer

My Qualifications:
-Ability to lead and teach effectively
-Ability to recruit and develop new leaders
-Mature faith in Jesus Christ
-Love for the local church
-Ministry experience working with young adults or college students (volunteer or professional)
-Effective interpersonal skills
-Play well with others: while this is a lead position, we expect the lead positions to be among the best team players.
