Job Description
THE PURPOSE OF THE ADMIN PASTOR
To lead and oversee the office staff, the day to day operations of New Harbor Church and various ministries. To carry out the effective execution of our vision of developing and unleashing a culture of spiritual growth for passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee/Lead the Office Staff
The Admin Pastor will lead, coach, and equip the office staff to carry out the vision, values, and strategies of New Harbor. He will administer Performance Reviews to the Office Staff.
Oversee/Lead Various Ministries
The Admin Pastor, as an Elder will oversee/lead various ministries in the church in partnership with the Lead Pastor and fellow Elders so that all the ministries can thrive and be aligned with our vision, values, and strategies. He will help lead and strengthen the Small Group Ministry.
Oversee the Operations and Church Administration
The Admin Pastor will lead and oversee the operational side of the ministry (e.g. facilities, finances, budgets, administration, IT, etc.). He will oversee all internal processes and infrastructures to insure they are strategic, effective, and efficient.
Provide Pastoral Care
The Admin Pastor will provide limited pastoral care in areas such as basic counseling, conflict resolution, church discipline, weddings, funerals, etc.
PRIMARY GOALS
Oversee an effective strategic planning and management process that identifies primary responsibilities, ou_noemailes and excellence for each ministry and its team.
Ensure a culture of focus and accountability where the office staff understands his/her role, responsibilities, ou_noemailes, and achieves them with excellence.
Oversee an annual budgeting process (with the Elder of Finance and Team) that reflects our strategic priorities and make sure we stay aligned and on track throughout the year.
Evaluate and ensure all ministries are in alignment with our vision, values, and strategies.
Provide authentic and effective pastoral leadership in such a way that people are built up, encouraged, and loved.
