Job Description:
In collaboration with pastors, plan music for the Open Door contemporary service each week (11 am Sundays). Set up weekly rehearsals with band, singers and Open Door_noemailputer/sound tech. Coordinate with minister of music when there are special music and/or events during worship. Maintain equipment for the band and singers. Help recruit additional musicians for band and/or to sing. Clerical assistance is available for maintaining and_noemailanizing music.
Requirements: ability to play keyboard; experience leading a band in contemporary Christian music; knowledge of the Presbyterian way of worship; ability to vary music styles and rhythms
Hours;
10 – 12 hours a week ($10,000 to 11,000 annually, based on experience)
