Job Description:
Part-time Praise and Worship Leader - Sanctuary UMC, North Wales, Pa.
Hours: 10-15 hours/week, including Sunday mornings and weeknight rehearsals
Seeking a Worship Leader with a soon to take place change in worship venue - from a traditional sanctuary to an informal space set up in a Fellowship Hall. The P&W Leader will lead a praise band, select music, lead worship and work with pastor to implement a worship experience. Candidate will be a_noemailmitted Christian with a desire to minister the word of God to the congregation through music. Effective interpersonal and_noemailmunication skills as well as strong administrative and leadership skills will be expected. An a_noemailplished keyboard, guitar, or bass player is preferred, along with a solid lead voice. A good understanding of sound system technology and use of media software is desirable.
