Job Description:

Position Summary – The marketing administrative assistant is a part-time position (15 hours per week) supporting the church's marketing_noemailmunications ministries. We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual who has experience in desktop publishing and electronic_noemailmunication. This position also provides basic administrative support to the marketing_noemailmunications coordinator and assists in other office duties. Candidates must be able to work within a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, demonstrating excellent_noemailanizational skills and customer service.
Responsibilities
Marketing – Establish a strong working relationship with the director of marketing_noemailmunication and produce a variety of marketing materials. Skills include excellent written_noemailmunication, proofing and editing of his/her own work, using the church database in marketing tasks, adapting to new systems and procedures, and working with a sense of urgency. Tasks include:
Producing printed and electronic materials such as weekly bulletins, newsletters, postcards, e-blasts, and other pertinent correspondence.
Updating web content on a timely basis.
Updating slides on the TV screen weekly.

Ne_noemailer Relations – Coordinate_noemailmunication with visitors and prospects from worship and church events (i.e., 2nd Friday Film). Work with the Evangelism Commission to implement ne_noemailers' events.

Office Duties – Provide back-up to the assistant to the rector. Skills include excellent customer service, excellent phone manner, excellent oral_noemailmunication, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Tasks include:
Answering the phone and door boxes.
Relaying messages.
Responding to requests of parishioners, vendors and staff.
Performing general office duties.

Experience
Desktop publishing using_noemailmon software.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programs.
Customer service and/or working with the public.
Prior church experience is desired but not required.
