Position Summary - The director of marketing_noemailmunications is a part-time position (25 hours per week) responsible for the development, planning and execution of the marketing strategy of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Accountability for external_noemailmunications, internal_noemailmunications and all_noemailmunication processes are additional functions of the position. This individual will collaborate with the Communications Commission to build our evangelistic capacity and strengthen the St. Andrew's brand through electronic and print media. The overall goals of this leadership role are to increase membership, build awareness of St. Andrew's in the_noemailmunity, build parishioners' capacity to tell the St. Andrew's story, and identify target markets for initiatives of the children's, youth and adult ministries within the parish. This position reports to the business manager and monitors expenses related to_noemailmunications, working within an allotted budget.
Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy – Establish a partnership with the Communications Commission and collaborate closely with this_noemailmission to a_noemailplish the following:
Plan and implement marketing strategies for the St. Andrew's brand and specific ministries.
Design and create content for St. Andrew's website, print media, and electronic/social media, maintaining a consistent graphic identity promoting the St. Andrew's brand and mission.
Assist other_noemailmissions and ministries with identifying and expanding their target markets to increase involvement by children, youth and adults.
External Promotion – Engage in public relations efforts to heighten awareness of St. Andrew's connection to the_noemailmunity (with a special emphasis on Brookside and neighboring areas). Create and plan a calendar for promoting the church to the_noemailmunity, focusing on programs geared toward church growth. Manage the exterior banner calendar including ordering, scheduling placement, and maintaining the banner inventory.
Internal Communications – Maintain and improve mechanisms for keeping parishioners informed of parish news and events, including the ways the church is fulfilling its mission.
Serve as central point of contact and tactician for parishioners wanting to publicize news and events to internal audiences.
Proactively seek ways to promote and increase parishioners' understanding of St. Andrews Connect (also known as ACS) as an information and_noemailmunication resource.
