EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in a biblical field from an accredited institution.
Evidence of education or training in Youth Ministry.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Provide vision and direction to the Youth Ministry Program in alignment with the current vision and culture of the church.
o Plan,_noemailanize, and lead an energetic, enticing, weekly youth group program for middle school and high school students.
o Plan,_noemailanize, and lead retreats and trips that take students off site for spiritual development or service.
o Provide opportunities throughout the year for students to serve the church and the_noemailmunity.
o Develop and host exciting outreach activities for students to invite friends.
o Organize and teach confirmation each year. (With supervision from pastoral staff.)
o Make contact with students with a presence at school and local para-church ministries.
o Assist students as they prepare for life after high school, and assimilate in the life of the church as adult members.
o Oversee the Youth Sunday School program in both theological content and its presentation, teaching where appropriate.
o Recruit, train and encourage volunteer staff, encouraging a volunteer-driven ministry.
o Lead efforts to implement and maintain the youth ministry's use of Social Media, providing regular_noemailmunication of youth events/activities. Engage students using social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Periscope, etc.
o Set and administrate the youth ministry budget.
o Communicate regularly with office staff regarding activities and participant information.
o Provide occasional connection points or meetings for parents to help encourage_noemailmunication.
o Meet weekly with pastoral and office staff to discuss the greater ministry/vision of the church.
