Church Organist Job - Main Street United Methodist Church, Greenwood, South Carolina

2.Assists with children's choir rehearsals on Wednesday nights and a_noemailpanies them when they sing in services.

3.Prepares and performs a variety of Preludes, Offertories, and Postludes which are seasonally appropriate and_noemailplementary to the other service elements of each service.

4.A_noemailpanies weekly Thursday night prayer service or supplies an qualified substitute.

5.A_noemailpanies church funerals when available or r_noemailmends an approved list of substitutes when unavailable.

6.A_noemailpanies church weddings when available and requested by the wedding party.

7.Works directly with the contracted_noemailan maintenance_noemailpany (or through the Director of Music Ministries) to ensure proper maintenance of the_noemailan.

8.Attends and participates in weekly staff meetings.

9.Acts as substitute Chancel Choir director when the Director of Music Ministries is absent.

10.Assists in planning and implementation of special seasonal services.

11.Participates in an ongoing program of continuing education of both personal and professional growth of at least 8 hours per year upon approval of Senior Minister of Chair of SPRC.
