The Children's Ministry Director roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:  -Work with pastor to ensure the goals of Children's ministries are being met a. Help to convey vision of Children's ministry and ensure that vision is being followed b. Help to coordinate training and education for volunteers c. Ensure volunteer orientation is conducted -Direct Children's ministry during Sunday Services a. Ensure there are an appropriate number of volunteers to children b. Ensure each classroom/teaching area has at least two adults serving -Review and acquire teaching materials for Children's Ministry a. Review various resources for material in adherence to Crossroads Church doctrine b. Obtain teaching/ministry resources for volunteers in accordance with church budget -Parent liaison during Sunday Services a. Address behavioral problems within the Children's Ministry time b. Work with volunteers and parents to resolve behavioral problems -Equipping volunteers to lead and perform age appropriate ministries (i.e. Sunday School, children's programs, children's ministries, etc.) a. Make provision for training; either by training or finding training opportunities b.
