Senior Minister
Job Description:
Bethany Christian Church is looking for an energetic Senior Minister who is ready to join us in carrying out God's vision for his church. He should be an inspiring speaker, an inspirational leader, a shepherd, a mentor to our ministry leaders and deacons, as well as a strong promoter for sharing and teaching God's Word.
Established in 1883, Bethany is an independent congregation affiliated with the Restoration Movement Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. The congregation is blessed with many leaders and the Senior Minister will have the opportunity to coordinate and guide them in a unified direction.
Bethany currently offers a blended-music service in a traditional sanctuary, as well as a contemporary service in a more intimate setting. Bethany also offers opportunities for individual growth, such as Sunday School, small group studies, youth groups and children activities, as well as multiple fellowship events.
The facilities at Bethany offer a wide variety of functional uses. The main sanctuary built in 1998 seats 300+ with ample foyer space. Other facilities include The Lighthouse (a more intimate multi-use room seating 75), a fellowship room with full kitchen, a multitude of classrooms with Wi-Fi capability, playgrounds, outdoor pavilion and ample parking.
Bethany is located just outside of Carrollton, G_noemailia on a major four-lane state highway. Carrollton is a beautiful, fast-growing college_noemailmunity with award-winning schools, good economy, and vast potential for church growth.
The qualifications are preferred, but not limited to: a Bible College degree, five years' experience as a Senior Minister, and strengths in character and conduct.
