1. How do I start using ChurchJobs.net?

    Using ChurchJobs.net is as east as 1, 2, 3. You simply:

    1.
    Signup for an account.
    2. Choose the account type you want (i.e. Church Account for posting Job Openings, or Candidate Account for placing a resume online)
    3. Create your job opening or resume.
    (4). Search resumes of potential candidates or apply for jobs.

    It's really that simple!

    Keep in mind that if you signup for a Candidate account to post your resume on ChurchJobs.net, and then your church wants to post a job opening on ChurchJobs.net, you will have to sign up for a separate account. Candidates cannot post job openings and Churches cannot post resumes to our database. We have two separate account types.

Posting a Listing


9. How do I post a job listing on ChurchJobs.net?

  • Simply click the "Add Job Opening" link on our home page.
  • Read the benefits of Premium listings and click the Add Job link on the bottom of the page.
  • Signup for a "Church" account by selecting a username and password.
  • Enter the job listing information in the form provided.
  • Pay for the listing.
  • Login to My ChurchJobs to manage your account.

10. How do I post my resume to ChurchJobs.net?

  • Simply click the "Add Your Resume" link on our home page.
  • Choose your username and password.
  • Receive the confirmation email and click the link to confirm.
  • Click the link on the resulting page.
  • Add Your Resume.
You'll have the opportunity to have much higher visibility by signing up for a Premium Resume. We strongly encourage you to do so as there are many benefits to premium resumes. You can read the benefits here.

13. What is the My ChurchJobs page?

    My ChurchJobs is the central place where you can mange your job listing or resumes. From editing to deleting your listings, adding new listings, searching the database, receiving email alerts and other tasks can be done from this page.

14. How do I edit my resume or job listing?

    Simply login to My ChurchJobs and select the edit link next to your listed resume or job under the My Resumes tab. You can change nearly every aspect of your listing including the category it is listed in.

    Then click "Edit this Resume" on the following page.

15. How do I delete my job listing or resume?

    First go to your My ChurchJobs page, then click the "Settings" link next to your listed job listing or resume under the "My Job Listings" or "My Resumes" tab. Example:

24. I seem to be going in circles. I sign in but then when I try to search it tells me to sign in again. What gives?

25. I paid for a resume but when I try to browse the resume categories, I can't get in. I can't see my resume.

    You can view your resume by logging into My ChurchJobs. A link to your resume will be listed in the center column of the page under the tab, My Resumes. Because we restrict access to our resume database, even paid candidates cannot look at other candidate resumes. We allow you to see your own resume but not the resume of others. Why? Please see the resume page for a full explanation.

26. How can I see who has applied to my job listing?

    Login to My ChurchJobs and look for the "Manage" link under the My Job Listings Tab. Click on the "Manage" link and you'll see a list of people who have applied to, or responded to your job.
