Position Summary:
The Bridge Community Church is seeking a well-rounded, innovative, self-motivating leader passionate for the spiritual growth of people through dynamic worship experiences. The Bridge is a seven year old church that thinks and performs "out of the box." We believe our worship ministry is vital to our growth and development and plays a key role in evangelizing our community.
The Worship and Creative Arts Pastor will serve as an integral team member to a staff with three other full-time pastors to actively implement and live out our church vision which is to provide a place for people to connect with God, people, and the community. The position entails robust responsibility and leadership of the worship team and all other teams associated with the worship experience at The Bridge Community Church.
Qualifications
General:
-College degree in worship, music, pastoral ministry or religious studies (preferred) or formal training in worship ministry
-A minimum of 2-3 years experience in leading corporate worship services and worship teams
-A fully supportive spouse (if married)
-Credentialed or seeking credentials with the Assemblies of God
Spiritual Leadership:
-An evident and flourishing relationship with Jesus Christ
-Philosophy of Servant Leadership
-Strong work ethic, resourceful, self-starter
-Proficient in leading worship with strong and confident voice and "stage presence"
-Experienced in recruiting, training and leading volunteers both spiritually and technically
-Ability to manage teams consisting of a broad age range and personalities
-Strong communication and public speaking skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, portable church environment
Technical:
-Proficient in music theory
-Proficient in guitar or piano
-Experienced in directing choirs
-Functional knowledge of stage lighting and sound systems
-Knowledge of ProPresenter and/or other worship presentation software, programs, and apps on a MAC platform
-Familiarity with audio/video digital recording
-Working knowledge of website production
-Organizational and administrative skills
-Experienced in graphic design and church marketing (preferred, not required)
