Job Description:
Purpose: To lead and develop effective worship in our services using a varietyof resources available in our church body.
Qualifications:
1. Male who meets the standards of 1 Tim. 3.
2. Min. 3 yrs. experience leading worship in a church of at least 300 people.
3. Experienced in leading and developing a worship team.
4. Experienced working with a variety of music styles (traditional & contemporary) and groups.
5. Needs to have leadership and shepherding skills in addition to those gifts
and talents necessary to lead worship.
6. If married, wife must be enthusiastically supportive of your ministry and
of the local church.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with senior pastor in planning all services.
2. Recruit and develop participants for worship teams.
3. Recruit and develop participants for tech team.
4. Develop and lead the congregation in meaningful worship.
Philosophy: Worship is to be done by the entire congregation and not just the praise team. Therefore, the Director shall plan ways that the body can participate actively in worship.
Our church: We have two Sunday morning and one Sunday evening service. We also have strong youth, children, men and women ministries. The pastor is committed to teaching the Bible from the pulpit. Our church is committed to the study and the living out of the Word of God to the end that lives may be transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
