Large church on western side of town invites applications for this part-time position to start September 1, 2007. Hours are flexible, about 25 per week during the school year and 15 hours per week during the summer. Nursery School enrolls 74 children, ages 2-5, with a staff of nine. The Director is responsible for the school’s compliance with State, City and Food Service requirements, coordinates the school’s educational activities and acts as a liaison with pre-school parents, N.S. Board and the Church.

Minimum qualifications:
At least a two year degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, plus 2 years experience working with pre-school age children.
Needs good computer skills.
Involvement in a Christian congregation preferred.

Salary is $17,000-$20,000 depending on background and experience.
