Job Description:
Westside Church is seeking a worship leader who can work with our pastoral team to create dynamic, energetic, and creative worship experiences for our congregation. The successful candidate will lead a worship band that can "rock the house" and also "intimately approach the throne of God". He must be able to manage teams of people and develop people in thier gifts for the overall worship ministry. Our style is free, exciting, Jesus focused, and not based in performance. We evaluate and value the participation of the congregation in our worship services. We use multimedia, drama, visual illustrations, and creative elements. Our church also values the development and contribution of children, and youth. The successful worship leader will bring vision, leadership, and motivation to all of these ministries in our church.
