Job Description:
Ellisville/Living Word United Methodist Church is seeking a gifted and spiritual person to fill the position of Director of Adult Ministry to continue the growth and outreach of our Adult Ministries as we move into our new location in March 2008. This position will facilitate the spiritual formation of adults in growing their faith and strengthening their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are looking for a highly motivated, “people orientated” person with the skills and calling to effectively disciple adults. We are an active, growing and loving church with a strong education program for all ages. Our mission is “To bring Jesus Christ to all people, strengthen their faith and prepare them for ministry.” The person hired for this position will need to have a strong love of Christ, excellent team building skills and have the same passion for the goals set forth in our mission.
Bachelors degree; working toward Masters Degree or Seminary education preferred.
