Job Description:
In support of the teaching of the senior pastor, the person filling this position creates meaningful and excellent CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP experiences that lead worshippers to re-center their hearts and minds in God, utilizing all the arts for this purpose, and providing spiritual leadership for those involved in the worship ministry.
This position is responsible for providing oversight for all contemporary worship experiences, directing all staff and volunteers engaged in contemporary worship ministries, developing the leadership and talents of the church in order to meet the worship vision, and delivering meaningful contemporary worship experiences.
• This position requires an individual to possess a deep understanding of music and its relationship to worship.
• Must have strong vocal and instrumental ability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music preferred.
• Must display the ability to lead audiences in worship by commanding their attention and leading them into a meaningful contemporary worship experience.
• Must weekly contribute fresh ideas to worship service planning and manage the details required to implement the plan.
• Ability to lead and/or assist the musicians, volunteers, staff, and technical teams to effectively produce a great worship program.
• This person constantly evaluates, refines, and creates a worship program characterized by creativity, unity, and sensitivity to the style and flavor of the worship environment.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
