The candidate must be spiritually mature and have a passion for students that is second to none in order to oversee a student ministry – from birth through college - that exploded in a very healthy and effective direction over the last four years. Additionally, the person will work along side other staff, creating a mutually supportive team, equipped to reach a common vision.
The chosen person would primarily lead and disciple the high-school ministry while working with and leading a full time middle-school director, a full time children’s ministry director, and an amazing support cast of lay leaders.

We are looking for a Next Generation Pastor that can lead our student ministry to the next level. This person will be given the tools of a new, state of the art facility (opened in Feb. 2007), a volunteer team of 25+, an established high school student ministry of 100+, and the opportunity to see God do some incredible things.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/VALUES
3+ years of noteworthy student ministry experience in a church;
with 800+ worshipers each week and no less than 100 students in the student ministry;
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
Excellent communicator, good sense of humor and high-energy personality;
Strong belief in Southridge’s vision, ministry philosophy,core values, and doctrine;
A Great Love For Jesus!

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
5 years of noteworthy experience in a church of 1000+;
5 years of experience leading a student ministry of 200+;
Experience managing paid staff;
Knowledge of current audio, video, and lighting technology;
Ability to lead a student based music team that plays at our weekly Jr. and Sr. High events.
