Job Description:
SEEKING LEAD PASTOR – Hillcrest Bible Church, a non-denominational evangelical church, seeks the Lead Pastor whom God has chosen to lead us into the future. Hillcrest is intentionally contemporary in our approach to ministry while conservative in theology and aggressive in evangelism. We are a young, growing, family-oriented church of 350 strong. Our loving and motivated congregation needs a dynamic, visionary man who is an inspired preacher and teacher of God’s Word. He will also be an Elder who provides spiritual and doctrinal guidance to the Pastoral Staff, Elders and congregation. His Biblically-based, visionary leadership drives church decisions, ministries and evangelistic outreach while guiding all to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
A minimum of 6 years full-time ministry experience with at least 2 of those years directly over seeing full-time pastoral staff is required. Additional experience preferred includes leadership development, strategic planning and capital campaign management. His character must fulfill 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
