Advertisement for CUMC Music Team Leader
Community United Methodist Church of Crofton, Maryland is searching for a music team leader to work in conjunction with the choir director, handbell director, contemporary worship leader and accompanist. The Music Team Leader will be responsible for the overall music program at Community United Methodist Church. In addition to an adequate knowledge of music and an ecumenical religious outlook, the Music Team Leader must have excellent people and communication (both oral and written) skills and exhibit an appreciation of both traditional and contemporary music and worship styles. The position is part time requiring a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. CUMC is also seeking a part-time Contemporary Worship Leader for a 9:00 a.m. service on Sundays and would consider hiring one person for both positions if the candidate is qualified.
