Assist the senior pastor in planning the congregational services of the church and be responsible for the selection of music.-Plan the music around central theme of the message.
-Plan the special music by scheduling personnel in advance.
-Develop the power point presentation for Sunday Services.
Work with the worship team in
-Conducting rehearsals prior to services
-Coordinate the use of instruments and vocalists
Special Events, i.e....
-Christmas and Easter presentations- lead choir, actors, audio/visual support and decorations
-Additional services- prepare music and provide the leadership for baptistms, Thanksgiving services, funerals, and other special services in conjunction with the pastors
Coordinate/ oversee any seasonal or outreach musicals or dramas
Help in preparation of the music ministry budget.
Be directly responsible to the senior pastor.
On Average or 25 hours per week
