CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR JOB POSTING
Exempt Full Time Salaried Position
Job Title: Administrator
Reports to: Senior Pastor
Position Description
The Church Administrator reports directly to the Senior Pastor and indirectly to the Board Elders for the efficient and effective administration of all church business affairs. This positions serves as a steward of the physical, financial, and personnel resources of the church.
• Works with the Finance Committee in establishing, developing and implementing budgets, financing and the raising of necessary funds for church expenses and programs toward the execution of the ministry’s vision.
• Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, and programs.
• Oversee the collection, processing, depositing, recording and disbursement of all church monies in accordance with established accounting principles and policies of the church.
• Work with the Personnel Committee to maintain and execute a current Ministry Action Plan and a Policies and Procedures Manual including the goals, objectives, rules, duties, functions, privileges, etc., of all personnel.
• Handle all personnel matters of the church support staff, such as scheduling vacations, setting hours of work, making recommendations to the Pastor for promotions or discipline or granting of extraordinary privileges, etc.
Requirements
• Should have a thorough knowledge of organizational development strategies.
• 5 - 8 years minimum experience in administration, church administration, a plus.
• BS Degree in Business Administration, Master degree preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English both verbal and writing.
• Strong organizational/administrative skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required for effective interface with all contacts at all levels within and outside the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent leadership and exercise sound judgment, discretion, confidentiality and integrity.

Today, about three thousand people meet at Restoration Christian Center, of which about two thousand five hundred are members of the church.
