Requirements:
We are seeking a worship leader who possesses and models a Christ-like character, who is spiritually discerning, and musically competent to lead and facilitate worship ministry. We are offering a part time position that will require approximately 12 hours per week.

* Capable of leading a worship service that is contemporary in style while including great hymns of our faith.
* Capable of leading instrumentalist and vocalists on a worship team.
* Able to function as part of a leadership team and create a team environment.
* Committed to serve God’s purpose and mission for CCC.
* Willing to learn and grow both musically and spiritually.

While the ability to lead from an instrument (piano or guitar) is highly desirable, it is not an absolute requirement.

Responsibilities:
Worship Leader responsibilities include:

* Leading and facilitating worship for Sunday morning services and occasional special meetings.
* Leading and facilitating weekly rehearsals for instrumentalists and vocalists.
* Assisting with the development of the Youth worship band.
* Recruiting and training of worship team personnel (adult & youth).
* Submission of an annual music budget.
* Attending staff or Senior Leadership Team meetings as needed.
* Selecting and attending annual seminars for personal training and development.
* Participation in the annual leadership team retreat for vision casting, planning, and team building.

You will be leading a talented group of volunteer musicians and vocalists as well as a student intern worship leader. While the current position is part-time, the role could grow depending on the needs and growth of the church. Salary is negotiable.
