Job Description:
Main Street Baptist Church is located in Georgetown Texas, north of Austin. It is located in one of the fastest growing counties (Williamson) in the U.S. Under the leadership of our new pastor, MSBC is a growing church family. We have plans in the near future to complete our ministry center with a 14,000 square foot worship space. This will help us meet the growing demands of our congregation.
We currently have three worship services on Sunday morning; an 8:15 (blended), 9:30 (traditional) and 11:00 (contemporary). We currently have a Praise Team, Praise Band, a choir. We are looking for an energetic and creative worship leader to take our worship to the next step where we honor our Lord in music and celebration. This leader will also lead our prayer ministry as we believe worship and prayer go hand in hand. Our mission is, “to become a dynamic family of believers passionately devoted to Jesus Christ”. The Worship ministry and our Worship Minister are vital to fulfilling this mission.
Sunday morning worship will be the primary responsibility. Preferences . . . •Lead with guitar (preferred) or Keyboard •Ability to direct the Worship band and vocalists •Able to use other creative elements in worship •Degree in music •A flexible team player
