Job Description:
Abundant Grace Church is a spirit filled Non-Denominational church seeking a spirit filled pastor with a passion to grow a small church in a quickly growing community. We have a young church willing and able to work and stand behind a pastor that is led by the Holy Spirit. We are praying and seeking God in this matter and we know that he has the right pastor for our church.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Regular preaching and teaching of God's word in services with clarity, passion, and relevance, such that spiritual development of the congregation is nurtured and encouraged.
2. Effectively reach out in an effort to grow our church body.
3. Direct shepherding oversight and involvement in promoting our youth program.
4. Occasional biblical counseling to church members and their families.
5. Participate in visitation opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Spirit filled, called in to the ministry by God.
2. A man hungry for God's will, ready to work and serve according to God's plan.
3. Should be a man of mature Christian experience and knowledge who shall as closely as possible met the requirements as set forth in the following scripture: "Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as an overseer not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not larding it over those entrusting to you, but being an example to the flock": (1 Pet. 5:2,3)
4. The husband of only one wife/wife of only one husband.
5. Commitment to and demonstration of servant leadership.
6. Respectable, hospitable, able to teach, and manage his own family well.
