Function:
To provide high quality audio services for Church of the Redeemer’s services, events and activities, to include:General description of duties:
Successfully engineer the audio mix for all of our main church services. This includes enthusiastically working together with the Music Department to accomplish successful and timely instrument line checks, sound checks, band rehearsals and dress rehearsals.
Maintaining all of the audio equipment used throughout the church. This includes not only the sound system in our main sanctuary, but a variety of other systems used in other venues, including a portable system. This would include performing and logging regularly scheduled maintenance on all equipment, periodically reviewing and recommending equipment upgrades and/or additions and properly inventorying and storing all equipment.
Maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of all audio related equipment and/or cabling throughout all areas of the stages, to include instruments and monitor mixing equipment.
Develop, maintain and deliver a comprehensive training and certification program, for both paid and volunteer staff, to provide them with the knowledge and experience necessary to operate the sound equipment in all of the various venues throughout the church (excluding the main sanctuary system).
Work together with the Media and Technical Ministries to provide high quality sound throughout our facilities via our CCTV system, media production room and Resource Center recording room.
Develop, manage and minister to a group of volunteer staff that can assist with the requirements of the sound ministry.

The candidate should:
Have a strong, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a commitment to holiness and a lifestyle of prayer and devotion.
Be solidly committed to the ministry of Church of the Redeemer and the Senior Pastor.
Have demonstrated faithfulness to the local church through regular worship attendance, church participation, tithing /giving and service.
Possess positive interpersonal communication skills; capable of working well with people.
Possess excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills.
Possess creativity in, knowledge of, or a passion to learn audio engineering.
Competent computer skills.
