Main Place Christian Fellowship a Bible-based, multi-generational, multi-culture community being transformed by Christ to be a catalyst for changing lives in Orange, CA has a opening for a Pastor of Student Ministries. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is called to a pastoral role for youth (grade 5-12) and their families.

Our current Student Ministries Pastor has invested 13 years into the body of Christ here at MPCF and we would like to see the same passion and commitment in our new candidate, along with a willingness to embrace some existing programs; IE: Discipleship, Evangelism and strong experience in building new youth programs.
The Pastor of Student Ministries will require both administrative and leadership abilities, since the individual will be overseeing and administrating other staff as well as providing direct leadership and direction to the ministry. He needs to relate to the students, to the parents of the students, and to the church body and staff. The ideal candidate will recruit, train, and develop servant leaders, both adult and students who will intentionally develop disciple making students.
The ideal candidate should have experience in building youth programs in previous ministries. The candidate will be expected to reach the students at our local middle and high school, as well as the surrounding communities. In addition to a mature relationship with Christ, core competencies include creativity, leadership development, teamwork, organization, strong communication, innovation, program development, follow-up, and a desire to have fun while serving students. If candidate is married, we would ask that the spouse take an active role in this ministry, serving along side their spouse.
