The mission of the Youth Pastor is to provide vision and leadership for the student ministries at Grace Church and to enlist, train and support adult volunteer youth workers and student leaders to collaborative team leadership, primarily for middle school and high school student ministries. Key goals include developing areas of ministry that win youth for Christ; building their faith; disciple the youth of our community and our church family; and developing and coordinating programs and social activities for youth.
The youth pastor will participate in additional areas of ministry, depending upon interest, training and experience, such as worship leadership, preaching, and team ministry resourcing. The complete Mission Statement for the Youth Pastor position is posted on the church website.

Qualifications: We are looking for an experienced Youth Pastor/Director (minimum of 3 years with at least 2 years of vocational experience) with a creative spirit and a genuine love of people, who is mature, with a heart for Christian growth of the youth at Grace Church. An advanced degree (for example a M. Div. or M. A. in youth ministry or Christian education) is a plus.
