Word of Life Christian Center is a non-denomination charismatic body of believers that preaches and teaches an uncompromising Word of God. The church has a long history of Holy Ghost heritage with a strong Prophetic Mantel and has been in the Denver Metropolitan area for over 30 years. We have one campus here in Lone Tree, Colorado and a second campus in Joliet, Illinois.We are seeking to fill on a full time basis a Video Directors position here at our Lone Tree, Colorado campus which is our primary base. We are looking for a team player who is a visionary with creative skills and abilities that can take our Video Media Systems to the next level of Ministry.
Overview
Responsible for filming, directing, editing, troubleshooting, and other technical duties as it relates to in-house video productions. Will also structure and oversee video announcements, DVD development, web streaming, WebTV broadcasts, television commercials and other weekly promotions as needed by various ministries in the church.
Responsibilities
Develop vision and strategy for growth and development of in-house video capability
Evaluate current equipment and make recommendations for upgrades
Manage, schedule, grow, train and develop in-house volunteers and paid staff
Evaluate current in-house capability and make recommendations to improve/update technology
Organize, manage, edit as needed current service DVD recordings
Develop strategy to upgrade current systems to provide DVD quality recordings for in-house product sales
Develop strategy to create live video for internet streaming
Provide planning and preparation necessary to provide video capture for all services
Oversee and produce video projects
Knowledge of video production software and equipment
Media production experience
Education/Experience
High School Diploma
Video Production Related Experience
3 Years Minimum Work related Experience in Video Production in a Church with attendance of 1500, to 2,000 attendees
Knowledge in Current Video Technology
Video System Trouble Shooting Ability
