Job Description:
WORSHIP ARTS PASTOR Ministry Job Description The Worship Arts Pastor/leader receives support, direction and is accountable to the Senior Pastor. Assigned Tasks A. LEADERSHIP 1. Works with the Senior Pastor in planning, implementing and evaluating the programs and policies for the Worship, Worship Arts and Media Ministries 2. Assists in the recruitment of Leaders and Workers for the Worship Arts Ministry. 3. Interviews Leaders and Worker Applicants, desiring to work in the various departments of the Worship Arts Ministry. And with the Senior Pastor approves Future Workers. 4. Oversees Worship Arts Ministry Leader to ensure the congregation is being properly cared for at all times. 5. Ensures that all Facilities, Ministries and Equipment are ready for the service to begin BEFORE the service begins. This will be done by coordinating and cooperating with other Pastoral staff members. 6. Represents the Fellowship to the local Community. By being an example of a TRUE Christian in all manner of life, including Speech, dress and manners. (see also the 10 M’s for ministry)
B. ADMINISTRATION 1. Works with the Senior Pastor in meeting the Worship related needs of the congregation. 2. By the Senior Pastor’s direction or in the Absence of the Senior Pastor directs all Worship services and takes responsibility for the activities and operations of this Ministry Department. 3. Assures that materials and supplies are ordered and available when needed. 4. Attends all regular meetings with the Pastoral Staff and special meeting with the Senior Pastor. 5. Responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are ready for use or scheduled for repair or replacement. 6. Verifies that the congregation’s Worship related NEEDS, WANTS AND DESIRES are met as is reasonably able to be accommodated or refers them to the Senior Pastor or addresses them at the next regular staff meeting.. 7. Responsible to maintain proper documentation for all events and activities of this ministry department and oversees that they are properly filed and stored
