Are you naturally gifted in music and worship? Do you have a heart to lead others in passionate worship of our Lord Jesus Christ? We seek a unique individual, capable in both contemporary worship and traditional choir. As part of our team, they would oversee our choir, provide for our children's choir and begin a contemporary worship experience for 20-30 year olds. This individual will oversee a team of church members who will assist in worship. We seek someone gifted in recruiting, equipping, training, and able to delegate to volunteers, as well as someone with a strong musical background.

FPCD believes in connecting families and individuals to Christ. FPCD is a church growing in its passion and vision to reach out. We have a new Church building, 6,500 square foot space, which is 4 years old. Since it opened in 2005, our congregation has nearly doubled in size, and continues to develop into a church with purpose, as we seek to grow our average attendance (150+/week).
MINISTRY DESCRIPTION
FPCD is looking for an individual who has the vision to believe God for awesome things. Our Coordinator-The Director of Music and Worship will provide leadership for volunteer staff and participants in young adult and volunteer ministries, and oversee the administration and development of ministries. They will work along with the pastor, support and volunteer staff to ensure a cohesive experience.
MINISTRY QUALIFICATIONS
A person who loves God with all their heart, soul and mind and loves their neighbor as themselves.
A person who has a teachable spirit and is willing to train, equip and put others in the spotlight for their own development as leaders (not looking for a one man show).
Education: B.A. or equivalent not required, but helpful. Training and competence in related ministry, competent level of theology, and proficient in computer skills also helpful.
Commitment to being a part of a team and building relationships.
They must evidence the biblical pastoral qualifications (Titus 1:6-9; 1 Timothy 3:1-7) and be in agreement with the principals, doctrine and beliefs of FPCD.
MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate Teaching, Small Groups, Mission
Participate in developing a contemporary/young adult ministry including worship services, activities, mission and philosophy of overall program for young adults
Promote, recruit, plan and lead ongoing young adult activities
Develop and lead Bible study/small group ministry
Promote young adult ministry to local area residents
Promote, recruit, plan and lead local, national, and international hands on mission activities
Coordinate mission activities with Mission Committee
Recruit volunteers for young adult activities and contemporary/young adult worship
Track volunteer involvement, interests and gifting of members, and keep record
Assist with leadership development through writing volunteer job descript
