PROFILE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
As Church of the Chimes worship leader your love for the Lord and pastoral presence on stage - coupled with spirit-inspired blending of music, scripture, prayer, and other artful expressions - creates a corporate worship experience that ushers in the very presence of God. Using leadership and relational skills that are grounded in a solid biblical foundation you provide direction and spiritual guidance to worship team members in a manner that is both engaging and personal. Your creative skills and versatility with technology enhances the overall worship experience without distracting from the main objective – the worship and praise of Almighty God.
THE CHURCH OF THE CHIMES TEAM
As a part of the Church of the Chimes Staff you will work alongside a dynamic team that is believing God for a new season of His presence. The staff is made up of a variety of individuals with respect to age, experience and ethnicity who work collaboratively in a strong team environment under the Lordship of Christ.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Lives a maturing, growing Christian life with a clear understanding of the Gospel and the full counsel of Scripture.
• Has a definable track record of effective and inspiring worship leadership with the ability to spiritually impact both large and small groups.
• Demonstrates a commitment to spiritual and personal integrity in addition to artistic excellence.
• Exhibits strengths in one or more of the following: Leadership, Pastor/Shepherd, Communication, Arts/Craftsmanship.
• Skilled in both music theory and application with a broad understanding and appreciation of various musical styles and genres (classical, traditional, contemporary, jazz, etc.)
• A proficiency in playing piano or guitar.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage technical operations.
EDUCATION
• A two or four-year degree in music from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
• Seminary Education a plus.
