ORGANIST - Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield, PA. We are seeking a born-again musician. Our current Organist is retiring. This part time position is open June 2008. We desire someone with an appreciation for both the contemporary music and the standard hymns. Our music ministry includes one blended Sunday morning worship service with Thursday evening rehearsal (Sept. – June) of the Chancel Choir; designated Special services; availability for weddings, funerals, etc. SBC is conservative, missions minded, and seeking to reach immediate communities with the Gospel. Instruments: Three manual Rogers organ; Baldwin baby grand piano; and electronic keyboard w/ 1,000 voices. SBC is located in Delaware County, a southwest suburb of Philadelphia.
