Principal focus of the position:
Provide quality worship music leadership on the organ and piano in a worship service of the church as well as in the Chancel Choir rehearsals and other ensemble and soloist rehearsals (as agreed).

Reports to:
Senior Pastor, Director of Music and Creative Arts

Regular duties:
1. Play for all 11:00 weekly “Traditional” worship services and called worship
services.
2. Work with Director in developing the Prelude, Special
Music, Offertory, and Postlude music, as needed each week.
3. Serve as accompanist for the Chancel Choir.

Occasional duties:
1. Accompany soloists and other ensembles participating in the worship
service described above with rehearsal(s) prior to the service (as agreed).
2. Serve as accompanist for wedding and funeral services of
Sharonville United Methodist Church (as agreed).
3. Meet with worship team leadership planners when needed (as agreed).

Skills and requirements:
1. A desire to be a participating team player in the worship ministry of the
church.
2. An accomplished musician, able to play the organ and piano with high
artistic ability, good technical skills and spiritual sensitivity.
3. A reasonable knowledge of electronic organs, which will allow the organist
to competently oversee the maintenance of Sharonville United Methodist
Church organ.

Compensation:
Will be competitive based on education, experience and ability.
