Coordinate development of worship teams to lead music in FBC’s worship services.Encourage the development of children’s, youth and adult choirs and musical ensembles, working to fully utilize the musical abilities that God has given to the FBC family.
Provide personal encouragement for FBC’s volunteer worship leaders through an ongoing mentoring relationship.
Develop weekly sequences for FBC’s worship services, in conjunction with the Senior Pastor.
Develop and provide training for Sound/Technical ministry.
Participate in FBC’s “Discover FBC” strategies as needed.
Coordinate the development of drama teams to enhance FBC’s worship presentations.
Assist with the oversight of the Children’s Ministries of FBC
Teach at least one regular Bible study group.
Prepare an annual budget, detailing annual ministry plans for the Music Ministry.
Give direct oversight to:
All Music Ministries
Music for Wedding, Funerals and Special Events.
Preparation of Bulletins, News Letter and Web Site
Maintenance, repair and purchase of musical equipment.
Prefer Advanced degree in Music and Worship and 5 or more years experience.
