Youth Minister Wanted
First United Methodist Church, a growing congregation of 1600 members in the heart of vibrant downtown St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking an energetic and creative Youth Minister. This person will report to a dynamic senior pastor and lead a team of parents and volunteers to generate a life-impacting youth ministry where middle and senior high youth can build relationships with each other and nurture their relationship with Jesus Christ.
FUMC is committed to care for its youth minister as evidenced by a desirable salary, comprehensive benefits, retirement and a supportive and well- resourced place to do youth ministry.
Qualifications for this position include a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a college degree, 3+ years experience in teaching and leading youth, and a willingness to embrace the United Methodist tradition.
