Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers, Indiana is seeking a Director of Children’s Ministry. The director is a full-time, salaried position to create, organize, plan and implement effective children’s ministry programs to empower families as they bring their children to Christ. The director will oversee the planning and development of all Children’s Ministry classes and programs for children, birth through 6th grade. The director will seek creative ways to grow Children’s Ministry programs and meet the needs of the community; as well as recruit, develop and supervise lay leaders in the ministry area. The director will work closely with the Preschool Director and the Ministry of Youth and Family to develop and equip families to disciple their children. A Bachelors’ degree is highly desired, with Christian Education or Elementary Education experience preferred. Three to five years previous experience directing programs in a large Children’s Ministry is desired.
