Job Description:
Calvary Baptist Church (SBC) is a growing family of evangelical believers located in Arcadia, FL one of "America's Best Small Towns." Calvary Baptist enjoys a celebrative, blended style of worship, as well as multiple adult discipleship ministries. We are currently looking for the man God has chosen as our Minister of Worship/Discipleship.
Responsibilities include: a) Leading adult and youth choirs, praise team(s), and instrumentalists; b) Overseeing drama teams, children's music program, A/V ministry, and special programming; c) Developing, coordinating, and evaluating adult discipleship programs and men's/women's ministries.
Requirements: 1) Formal Education in Worship/Church Music (seminary degree preferred, but not required). 2) Must have a servant's heart, and a desire to lead God's people to a more intimate relationship with Him through music, worship, and personal/corporate discipleship. 3) Must believe in and adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
