Job Description:
Crossroads Bible Church in suburban Dallas (Double Oak, TX) is seeking a full-time Director of Children's Ministries. The Director is responsible for providing vision and leadership for ministries to children from birth through 5th grade. This includes organizing teaching and program venues; determining, evaluating and developing curriculum; developing a leadership team; and recruiting, training and supporting direct reports on staff as well as volunteers. In addition, the Director will provide insight and direction to the overall CBC ministry and will insure that Children's Ministries align with CBC's doctrine, values and beliefs, and ministry direction.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Theology or Christian Education or its equivalent or at least 5 years experience in children's ministry in a large church environment. Resumes may be submitted to melissa@crossroadsbible.org through February 15, 2009.
