Job Description:
Associate Pastor of Students/Administration
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Student ministries-7th-12th grades and College students
- To develop a program of ministry that has a balance of winning teens to Christ, building up students in their faith, equipping students for ministry, and developing leadership in students.
- To be responsible for the Biblical instruction that occurs in the student ministry
- To develop a leadership team that includes both students and adults
- To follow up those who are new to the ministry or who have been absent
- To maintain regular contact with students outside of the church setting (visiting, writing notes, attending their events, e-mail, telephone contact, etc.)
- To develop relationships with the local school systems and if possible, be present on the high school and college campuses. (This can take many forms: i.e. chaperoning, coaching, lunch room, etc.)
- To minister to both the students and their parents (i.e. parent/student meetings & events & training, helping parents to disciple their own students)
- Involvement in the local student ministry network (i.e. Allies) that help to foster and develop youth ministry throughout the area.
2. Pastoral Care of members and attendees
- General encouragement and shepherding of the church through notes,
E-mails, phone calls and visits
- Occasionally visit the hospital, shut-ins, or those in need of encouragement
- Occasionally preach, perform funerals, weddings and baptisms
3. Administrative Responsibilities

Education:
- The candidate should have at least a minimum of a BA in Student Ministry or related Ministry.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in Student ministry or an extended internship at local church
- Experience in developing and leading student ministries
Ordination/Licensed:
-Ordained or Licensed to the Gospel Ministry is preferred but not necessary
Salary Range:
-Total Package commensurate upon Experience and Education

Faith Fellowship Church is a Non-Denominational, Bible based fellowship that began in 2004 with its first Worship Service in barn with 30 attending. In 2004 the newly formed Faith Fellowship Church bought what was a run-down restaurant converted to accommodate the growing family in discipleship, worship and fellowship. A building program began in mid 2006 and had its first service in the new/temporary Worship Center in early 2007. We are currently in another building phase for a new fellowship/Multi-purpose building that is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2009. Average attendance is currently 200.
