Job Description:
Two small rural churches are looking for a full-time pastor who will preach from the Bible without adding to or deleting form it. The pastor must be committed to serving Christ and His church, as well as having the ability to lead, inspire, encourage, strengthen, counsel and guide individuals and families in their spiritual growth and walk with Christ. Candidates must have a love for Christ and a proficient knowledge of Scripture. Pastoral duties would include preparing and delivering a weekly sermon, accompanied by a short children's service, and visiting congregation members in hospitals/nursing homes. Duties would also entail performing marriages, baptisms, christenings, and funerals. We are looking for someone who is energetic, motivated, passionate, and possesses a servant's heart.
