The Worship Coordinator role is a vital leadership function in the development of our ministry and our intent is that he/she will help us to pursue and develop the four areas as mentioned above. We are therefore seeking a committed Christian with proven musical and people skills to develop and coach the musical- and other teams for our ‘blended' Sunday service. The Worship Coordinator will have the ability to organize music, prayer and Scripture within our worship effectively to high standards of quality. He/she will work closely with the Pastor and Organist/Choir director and report to the Pastor. A background in music would be highly desirable.

Requirements:
1. Direct oversight and development of various elements of worship services and seasonal events, including:
a. Recruiting and training musicians and team leaders for music ministry
b. Coaching bands, song leaders and other musical ensembles of all ages and styles,
c. Work to develop other creative forms of worship including prayer and Scripture, to
engage the congregation in the entire worship experience.
d. Scheduling and collaboration of musicians, lay readers and prayer teams
e. Plan and coordinate training for technical crew and prepare weekly powerpoint
2. Leading monthly meetings of the worship planning teams in order to:
a. Engage in long-range planning for worship services
b. Establish goals and objectives for worship at PPC
c. Oversee those responsible for specific elements of the worship services.
3. Oversight of Program budgets relating to the worship at PPC
