This has been updated as of Feb. 10, 2010....Turning Point church is a new church plant that is almost a year old. We are a non-denominational spirit filled church that focuses on building strong families, impacting our community and reaching around the world thru missions. In just under a year we have grown from 5 to almost 70 and we will continue to experience great growth. We are looking for an individual who can play keyboard and lead worship. This position will be responsible for being the leader of the worship team and developing a worship band. Our worship is a blend of new and old contemporary music. This is a perfect place to live and raise a family and an exciting church to be a part of. The position is a non-paid position at this moment but will evolve into a paid position as the church grows. We are looking for someone with vision that can see past the moment. It is with vision that you can embrace the bigger picture of where we are going. It is our desire to create a dynamic worship department that will one day be training up interns to learn and gain experience in leading worship. To be able to raise up people to send out to start up churches and churches in need. This is a big vision that goes beyond just singing on stage and requires a real leader. Our view on this is is: Jesus does not make great leaders, He makes great servants and great servants makes great leaders! This is a great place for someone with a real heart for worship and desire to lead the church into he presence of God. This is a spirit-filled church that believes that the gifts of the Spirit are for today and it is important that our worship leader feels the same way. The applicant must have excellent keyboard skills, must be an active Christian serving God in their daily life and must have pastoral references.
