Job Description:
The First Baptist Church, is a growing, family oriented church, with a congregation of 150-250, we are actively searching for a Senior Pastor whom God has chosen to lead us into the future. The church is located in the small town of Armstrong, B.C., Canada, in the Okanagan Valley. It is a 20 minute drive north of the city of Vernon and approximately 1 hour drive north of Kelowna.
Armstrong First Baptist has a good mix of young and old who enjoy spending time together.
The atmosphere is casual and we have a heart for the lost and the unchurched in our community. We are seeking a Senior Pastor whose' primary gifts and passions will be preaching and teaching, centered on the Bible as the authoritative Word of God.
His leadership will be evident by his personal relationship to Jesus Christ, an active prayer life and a passion for reaching the lost and those in need.
