Immediate Opening: Interim Music Director United Church of Cloverdale(United Church of Christ) is seeking a musician or two to lead our Music Ministry while our Minister of Music is on a leave of absence. The position is open and goes through January 31, 2010. There is an option to job share on the Music Minister's return. Position: 1/3-1/2 time; Salary negotiable DOE. Duties include: Organist and/or pianist for Sunday worship and other events. Direct adult, youth, and children's choirs Part of worship planning team Leadership and program development for our community oriented Music Ministry
Beautiful Instruments: 9 rank Whalley tracker organ (recently restored); 1901 Steinway piano; 3 octaves Malmark Handbells and Choir Chimes.
United Church is located in Sonoma County,Ca., about 2 hours north of San Francisco. Our church is "Open and Affirming". Worship is both traditional and lively. Our music ministry is eclectic (classic, gospel, jazz, ethnic, and world music
