Job Description:
General: This position is a full-time pastoral level position to minister to youth 13-18 years of age. This person should be able to oversee the development, discipleship, and fellowship of youth, helping them to pursue spiritual goals, maturing into effective Christian young adults. Along with this, there is a strong need to develop a leadership team from within this group, or those who have been called to this ministry. Ministry to young adults also overlaps into this position through leadership training, discipleship, etc.
Qualifications: A heart for teens, leadership skills, experience, strong, sound personal spiritual life, an excellent rapport with the age group, life-long learner, and holding ministerial credentials with the AG. Minimum 3 yrs experience in youth ministry. College degree/equivalent strongly preferred.
Other Information: It is understood that this job will require approximately 40+ hours per week, some in non-traditional "work hours." Staff longevity is a priority to Victory Church and this should be considered a long-term position. A solid team ministry with other staff members is expected.
