We are on a search for a new spirital leader. Ideal candidates will be located within 25 miles of the inner Philadelphia Suburbs. Our church is located in one of the finest school districts in the region and we are in a lovely community of middle income families. The ideal candidate wll be 30 to 40 years old (or young in Spirit). Male and Female ordained ministers from main stream protestant denominations such as Luthern, Congregational, Methodist, etc would be a great fit. A candidate with a young family would be ideal as the community we are located in has a wonderful family enviroment.
The most critical requirement is the candidate must have outstanding preachng ability.
We believe that a healthy growing church is based on high quality preaching of the gosple. The church is not an evangelical church however as the church is intersted in growing we believe a touch of the evangelical would add a much needed dynamic.
The church has an outstanding music director and is interested in expanding the music program. The chuch also has a solid tradition of openness, caring and loving ministry.
Additionally we believe that in the internet age, the web can be used creatively to preach his word. A candidate who is interested in using technology to creatively preach the gosple would be most welcome.
We are looking to fill the position in the Fall of this year. The compensation package is competitive for a suburban church.
